AiR AI is a virtual therapist designed to alleviate social anxiety and enhance communication skills through engaging interaction.
Built for the Oculus Quest Pro using Unity, with characters crafted in Character Creator 4, AiR utilizes Microsoft Cognitive Services for speech synthesis, Davinci003 for conversation generation, and EmoRoBERTa API for emotion analysis.
Faced with challenges such as limited hardware and the need to ensure safe user experiences, the team successfully created a minimalist and calming AR/VR/XR interface.
AiR represents a step forward in using immersive technology to provide therapeutic support, with plans to refine speech analysis, visual design, and behavioral analysis to personalize user interactions further.
